As senior policy and planning advisors to former Governor Phil Bredesen, we helped develop some of the administration’s most important programs, policies and initiatives, such as: Voluntary Pre-K for Tennessee program Books from Birth Foundation initiative Governor’s Teacher Pay Task Force Tennessee Diploma Project Cover Tennessee BEP 2.0 funding formula reform model Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship Program Tennessee Heritage Conservation Trust Fund Governor’s Citizen Advisory Group on Ethics and the Governor’s Jobs Cabinet.
We leveraged those hands-on public sector experiences to continue supporting some of the most significant policy issues in the state, including Tennessee’s Race to the Top and Complete College Tennessee initiatives, as well as providing formal high-level policy consulting to the 2010 Haslam for Governor campaign.
More recently, we have partnered to develop and support projects such as Tennessee Promise and Reconnect, BlueSky Tennessee Institute, Chattanooga 2.0, and Metro Nashville Public Schools and Nashville State Community College’s Better Together initiative.
